Can someone tell me about a sleek gaming laptop under 923$

None that I can think of. Usually "gaming" and "sleek" do not go together because "sleek" generally means limited cooling potential. Of course there are exceptions like the Razer Blade 14", but that is more than 2x your budget.
Perhaps something like the Lenovo IdeaPad Y40 for $849 will do. It is 0.9" thick and the starting weight is 4.85lbs. It has a Radeon R9-M275 graphics chip which is generally between the GT 755m and GT 760m. While it does have a Core i7 CPU, it is only the ultra low voltage (ULV) dual core version; Core i7-4510u. The quad core version consumes more power and produces more heat so the laptop would need more robust cooling which generally add weight, thickness and costs.
