Gaming mobile gpu upgrade

i have a > Xplorer X7-8050 Gaming Notebook with a gtx 670m games decent but i was looking into buying a gtx 880m i know they are 45w gpu compared to most 75w but im new to laptop upgrades and was curious if this would even work in my laptop. and yes i know with a little more mney i could just get a better laptop but thats not what im asking just want to know if this is possible.

is your 670m soldered or socketed? if it's socketed then yes, you /probably/ can.

Check these before buying a new GPU
1. Socketed
2. Same Socket Interface, G2, G3, etc.
3. Space and dimensions of the new GPU
4. Support by Motherboard
5. Newer GPUs usually run cooler, but this is something you should check too

Then you'll be buying your new GPU, I don't know of any websites that are reliable and have good reputation that sell mobile GPUs, somebody else may come up with one though, I'd love to know about some sites too if I am being honest

It'd be awesome if Mobile GPUs and CPUs were sold like desktop GPUs and CPUs, desktop components are sold pretty much anywhere :c. Do you guys think such a day will come?

thanks for your reply and i will do. Yes i wish the same thing and eventually i think mobile parts will be avaliable more widley instead of few overpriced sites and ebay. Just wish that day would hurry up.
