Is there no way to apply external audio speakers onto a Sanyo LCD 42" HD tv? I think not 'cause all the ports on the back of the tv say INPUT. ??? WHAT TO DO? It appears that there needs to be a "Home entertainment receiver" put on the tv...expensive...almost as much as the tv itself did.

you can buy a samsung home theatre in a box with a blueray player for around $200 cdn.they dont sound bad at all.if there are no audio out outputs on the tv that is your only option.keep in mind too that even if there are audio outputs you are not going to get that home theatre sound,and ive never seen a tv with a sub output.
