I'm looking am currently tied between 3, the problem is im not to sure where to go. I hear a lot of things about the lenovo y50's screen. Is the screen really that bad? I would be going with the touch screen or the 4k model (i wouldn't be gaming in 4k id lower the res to 1080p). On the other hand im looking at the msi gs60 but I dont want to spend more then 1400 and that limits me to the base model. I would much rather have the gs60 than the ge60 but with the msi ge60 Apache it seems like i cant get one speced much better then the gs60 for about the same price. does the ge60 fall in to a slim notebook or is it about the same size as a standard laptop.I really do like the ultrabook slim factor. links below.

Solution
In the 1200 price range, your looking at the 860 or maybe 870m (for gaming the GPU is the most important thing). Take a look at the Sager NP8268. It's a little heavier, but the 860m runs hot. (1024MHz core) the Sager will run cooler and it's easy to upgrade.

The GE60 only has one cooling fan and has dismal battery life.

What price range do you want to stay in?

Are you looking for thin and light or can you have something a little bigger?

Don't get the 3k or 4k options, even the most powerful laptop GPU can't run games on that.
