Hi Guys, I have an Asus N55SL that was flashed to BIOS N55SL.204 & now it wont boot of the battery & usb3 no longer recognizes any usb divice either usb 2 or 3. But Usb 2 ports are working fine?
Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. N55SL.204, 24/10/2012

I want to flash it back to either;
Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. N55SL.201, 18/04/2011
Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. N55SL.202, 14/11/2011

Is this possible? if so does anyone know how as all I get is "version to old" from the bios flash utility in the Bios & winflash just says not compatable with my notebook which it was till v204 was flashed.
Any help/advice would be good.

Thanks

You might have somehow flashed a compromised image. I'd re-download the BIOS and install it again if possible. I've seen images that were flashed and caused issues correct themselves by reflashing the image a second time. What was the reason for updating the BIOS to begin with? Were you having any issues prior to updating the BIOS? Did you use the 2011 or the 2012 flash update utility?

Also, have you tried going into bios and resetting to default or optimal settings? Sometimes after a BIOS update the old settings don't get reset and conflict with the new image, or something similar. I just know sometimes resetting after a flash cures the problem.
