The Laptop is a HP. GPU is GMA 4500MHD (very ancient)
It used to work fine but then the old cable broke. I've replaced to a new one and it stopped working.
The TV, which is a Samsung, still receives some kind of signal when i plugged the hdmi cable into the laptop and TV.It says "Searching for signals" then turns to "No Signal". When I unplug the cable it says "Check the signal cable"
I've tried detecting in Screen Resolution, shows nothing. I've also tried Start +P, doesn't work.
Can anyone help me??

Where did the old cable break? Have you checked the pins and sockets on both the laptop and television to make sure there is no bent or damaged pins in the connection sockets? You may need a pen light and a magnifying glass to see. If the cable broke by getting caught and yanked out, like by getting caught up in the cable and pulling out of the tv or laptop, it may have damaged something internally in the socket.
