OK. My dad spilled coffee on his dell 5510 a couple months ago. He cleaned it up and tilted it on its side etc. When he booted it back up a couple days later, keyboard no longer worked. I recently disassembled the laptop and cleaned up dried coffee. Slight corrosion but nothing near sockets/wiring/circuitry. Disassembled and cleaned the keyboard and it still didn't work. Is it short circuited?
