So basically what I'm trying to do is hook up a Vibro Acoustic Bed up. The bed has a speaker that receives power through an amplifier that goes through an audio interface (Alesis io2 express) and plays music from the computer. The computer will play music through a pair of headphones, and bass through the acoustic bed individually, but not separately. I'm asking if there is a way to play the bass through the bed and the rest of the sound through the headphones from a music file at the same time. I'm new to setting up audio equipment and was wondering if this was possible, and if so, how? Ask questions to help me elaborate further. Thank you.

Hello... cant view image... "Not supported browser" LOL are they becoming a Hacked sight or want to load secret files on your computer??
anyway a cable Y-Spilter ( $ 5.00 ) is a common used audio adaptor as a quick fix for your situation... but requires an extra hardware EQ... Go to a Pawn shop or Used musical instrument store or EBAY... for some very Low cost options

Hello... you must have a seperate output and/or amplifier for each speaker/device... the most basic way would be using a Software EQ for the BED speaker and adjust it to your likings.
Do you have a Realtek on MB output connection ? try using their APP for setting up a EQ profile and output for your BED? also there is a SUBWOOF'r feature with some Realtek on MB connectors.
Your Alesis io2 express has only two outputs and they are being used by your HeadPhones and DAW... it is possiable to have more than one sound card/device working in a PC... If you are just playing back music the Realtek alone can do this.

Thank you for the reply. I'm currently using a generic Dell laptop with Windows 7. So the only way to separate the bass and rest of the music is to provide the laptop with another sound card/device?

Hello... Laptops are very limited with audio connectors so the realtek solution is not for you.... OR is it?
You need a stereo signal and a mono signal for the BASS am I correct? That's a Total of Three... your Audio device has only two signals.
1) Reurn you Alesis io2 express for a 4 output device?
2) Run a "Spliter" Y connector from one of your Alesis io2 express outputs into a EQ and then AMP and to the bed speaker.
