Hi i am looking for a gaming notebook (prize range 700$-800$) with which i could play latest and upcoming games (like Witcher 3, Dragon Age 3 etc). I am fine with medium setting, resolution and 720p gaming in general. I was doing a little research and i found Lenovo IdeaPad Z510 and is it good enough for 720p gaming??

Yes, that's pretty much the hardware I expected to see. As the review shows, you can get high settings on older games, but newer games will generally have to settle for low to medium settings.

Just make sure that wherever you buy it, it has the same (or better) specs, since the base model of that laptop does not have the same hardware.

Yes, it has an i5 cpu which is most favoured for budget gaming pc's too and the Intel HD 4600 graphics will do great at medium settings on those games. 8GB RAM too, you wouldn't need more than that for a very long time

Thanks for an answer :) but "Lenovo IdeaPad Z510" has "NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M 2GB" not "Intel HD 4600 graphics"..is that a problem or not?

Where are you getting that info? As far as I know, the HD 4600 would barely be able to pull low settings on games like those, and I'm guessing it could still end up being choppy at certain points if not throughout the game. Might even have to put the resolution down even lower than 720p.

And the 740M I wouldn't expect to get Ultra settings on big, upcoming titles. It will run similar current games on low to medium settings, though, from my understanding.

Aside from that, you may want to link the actual build you are referring to as hardware can vary in laptops. But with a 740M, 8GB of RAM, and a Core i5 processor it would have fine hardware for a laptop in that price range.
