The laptop will only be able to play on the settings on medium or lower if you don't mind.

Why? The CPU is a low voltage processor and don't provide the power and a 630M which is below a 650 is not really designed for gaming but still reasonable.

If you 8GB of RAM then it will be good however 4GB will do fine as well.

Systemrequirementslab is not completely accurate. For example my laptop fails the recommended section of Aliens: Colonial Marines but it ran very smoothly. The people who made that site, didn't put in all the CPU and GPU models. Let's say you have a pentium dual-core at 2,5ghz and the section wants a core2duo at 2,5ghz, and it fails just because it's not called "core2duo". Same thing goes for the GPU.

Yes I absolutely agree the only one to know if your computer is capable to run and how much frames you will achieve. Is to have the game and play it.

is it soldered? If so then nope. is it socketed? Then yes, but it's not easy to get mobile cpu-ses and also the fact that it may or may not be supported by your current hardware and that it may or may not produce more heat than your old cpu. You should first look if you can find one in a reliable place/website, see if it can be installed with your current hardware, and then see if it produces significantly more heat than your old processor

there's simply no way around it, stop looking for something that is simply not there. People should be more careful when buying electronics "just for the looks", moms don't know about notebooks, she probably saw a good looking Alienware and bought it :p
