what internal hardrive can work with my laptop when i play games?

i own a Dell Inspiron laptop and i play steam games on it and i wondered if i need a better internal hardrive to preform well while i play games?

Hard Drives don't affect much perfomance when gaming and the only thing you'll see a speed up in are the loading screens, the game's startup and transition between levels/areas.

but what about when your hard drive is external
because i have an external hard drive and it works good for a little but it still makes my games slow
