Blue 'glaze' over camera

Hi I bought a Toshiba laptop around 3 months ago, and since I got it the webcam sometimes does this awful effect that I can't describe. I got a screenshot so maybe someone can take a look and help

Maybe I'm color blind, but I see no blue glaze. Although the photo is awfully pixelated.

I think they are talking about the blue box in the bottom right corner of the video window.

Does it normally allow you to see your self in that area like many other programs and phones/tablets do?

You may be able to ensure you have the latest version of the drivers and software from the Toshiba website.

Ah, okay. I just figured that was put there to block something out, like the other stuff that's covered. I'm not a Skype person. My bad.

It sometimes does it, and sometimes doesnt so I usually can see myself but this occurs every now and again

I would ensure all drivers are upto date. Your video card may be used for this so the latest drivers may help.
