Hey guys,
I recently bought a laptop, Dell Inspiron 15
my problem is that when the display turns off due to inactivity, I cant wake it up with the trackad, keyboard and mouse, the screen is turned off, HDD activity LED is blinking.

One more thing I noticed is the "Capslock" button LED doesnt light up when I press it,

no screen problems when normal usage, pc boots perfectly.

PC Specs,

i7-4500u
8GB Ram
AMD HD8850u
Windows 8.1

Im suspecting a Graphics driver issue, but I downloaded the drivers from AMD
what do you think?

thanks!!!

I have exactly the same problem, however my keyboard lights still turn on and off, did you find a solution?

I looked around and asked on dell community and the problem seems to be with DELL.
2 things, Either you choose to install the Really old and outdated official Dell AMD drivers and fix the problem
or download the latest drivers from AMD and have sleep not work.

I just have sleep disabled, I have turn off display.
