Any "beefy" AMD APUs or intel CPUs that can run sleeping dogs at medium settings 1080p at <$1000?

following this http://www.notebookcheck.net/Computer-Games-on-Laptop-Graphic-Cards.13849.0.html

it seems like 77X and 86X and i7 47XX are enough for a playable watch dogs at med (even though benchmarks are not 100% accurate)

(remember I may make mistakes and won't be responsible on your final decision, this down below was just a quick search anyway)

A quick search lead me to:

http://www.xoticpc.com/sager-np7378-clevo-w370ss-p-6990.html 17,3'' i7 4710mq 860m maxwell this one is quite good! should play watch dogs on med

I could've found you some notebooks from more known brands but they were about 200$ more or not new

thanks for the reply but sadly your eyes were kinda deceiving you its "SLEEPING DOGS"(2012) NOT "WATCH DOGS"(2014) I was kinda scratching my head for a bit when a 860M could only run it at med settings sleeping dogs is about a undercover HK cop in the chinese triads in hongkong

Umm. You realize you can build a solid gaming PC with a dedicated graphics card for $1000?

already have one thanks for the concern but I'm looking for a bit of "mobile" platform that can play the games I have in the PC at med-low settings, weighs < 2.0KG, ain't hot/warm to the touch and the only laptop that I found that could do this is the zues hercules from cyberpower

What games are you playing? I'd recommend this as it has a better mobile GPU and is in your budget

I play some awefully light games like mount and blade and dota 2 (as I play the triple A stuff on the PC) but the whole point with me looking for a powerful AMD APU or a intel CPU (with a powerful graphics adapter) is because I wanna go light and I realize I can do that by removing the card (hence it weighs helluva a lot lighter and is more power efficient not to mention it'll be less hotter as the APU/CPU is the one that is being cooled on all the time...

Oh well in that case I'd take the laptop I recommended. It's cheap and it should run modern games at lower settings

Why spend $1000 on a laptop you are only going to do light gaming on? You can buy a refurb 1st or 2nd gen i7 with dedicated graphics card for under $500.
Just slap a new harddrive in this baby and it would make a sweet gaming rig>
