Hi everybody, I´m one of the UNHAPPY owners of an MSI gt70 powered by the EVEN WORSE 675m gpu. I need to replace it but don´t know which gpu´s are compatible with my notebook.

Msi GPU´s seem to have double Vram as Clevo or Dell ones...

What do you recommend?? (Besides torching Nvidias building...) Best regards!!

I'm no MSI guru, but I was curious so I spent some time researching this and came to several conclusions:
1. It is possible.
2. The best place to look for a solution is in the MSI GT70 owner's forum.
3. IF you can find a suitable replacement, and IF you you can get the BIOS and drivers straight and working, it's likely that the replacement GPU still won't work well.
4. You're better off just selling the laptop and getting a new one.

Sorry - probably not what you wanted to hear :(

I know it not 100% safe, but it's my only chance. Many people have done the replacement on other forums and the only SAFE one seems to be 680m but it's almost 600/700 USD!!! where as the 770m o 670m are 300/400 usd.

The worst part is that there are lots of people with this issue and nor nvidia or MSI had anything to say. Thanx for your time and your answer man! Hope anyone else can bring some more light to this whole thing
