Hi all I am planning to buy one laptop, my use is just browsing and to use normal social network sites, Skype, google hangout and for watching and listening movie and songs. My main requirement is not to get the lap hang (or get slow) even if I open many sites in different tabs. Also right now there is two configuration in my mind first one is a Quad core and the other i5 and details given below. I would like to know is the first one enough for my need it is 10k cheaper compared to i5. Please help me on this.

1. Toshiba Satellite C50-B P0010 Laptop (4th Gen Intel Pentium Quad Core- 4GB RAM- 500GB HDD- 15.6 Inches- DOS) Clock Speed 2.17 GHz, with Burst Frequency up to 2.42 GHz Cache: 2 MB

OR

2. Toshiba satellite c50-a x0011 laptop (4th gen ci5/ 4gb/ 500gb/ no os)
Variant: 4200M
Chipset: Mobile HM86 Express
Clock Speed: 2.5 GHz with Turbo Boost Upto 3.1 GHz
Cache: 3 MB

The difference between both regarding the use you plan to give it won't be noticeable CPU wise so I'd say go with the cheapest one, bear in mind both have only 4GB of RAM so your request of not getting slowed when opening several tabs might not be achieved (will largely depend how many tabs we're talking about + how heavy are the website you'll use).

The OS to use will impact on this, Windows 7/8 64bits will slow down here and there with only 4GB of ram...
