I start school in a few weeks and I gave my 15.6" laptop to my brother because it was 8 years old and he wanted something to get him by for a bit. I would like a gaming notebook, but I would most likely do "light-gaming" rather than heavy because my desktop can cure the need to buy a ridiculously priced laptop.
my questions would be:
15" or 17" laptop? I know what it's like to have a 15", but it wasn't a gaming laptop so I cant really same much on that part. I guess a 17inch would be a bit better...but I'll let you tell me
what GPU to withstand a lot of games at the moment?
has nice looks (not SUPER important, but it does add to the laptop)
which would provide the most portability for school?
powerful enough to last at least 3-4 years (though I know the GPU will most likely be crap by then, but a nice processor and SSD will tend to stay alive)
modestly priced (though I can shed a few more dollars if it's a pretty damn good laptop)
and any other comments you guys think will aid in my decision will be most appreciated.
