My girlfriend has a 2009 macbook, I'm unsure of the exact specs at the moment. I know it has like 4g ram, and an intel core 2 processor. She recently upgraded her os, from which to which, again I forget and I'll update this thread accordingly when I get the info.

A few days after installing the new version of her os, safari stopped working properly. Whenever she tries to connect to any site, it just loads forever/fails. She claims that one time it actually connected to facebook after being left alone for a while, but not everything on the page fully loaded. I assumed that maybe it was her wireless card, but I believe she said her laptop was saying the signal strength was good. Now her internet is pretty slow, being at like 4 mbps download, but I doubt that's an issue. Also other apps that connect via the internet were working properly. Itunes and skype.

We've tried resetting safari, clearing cookies etc. Proxies. I had her reinstall the os, still nothing. She can't uninstall safari and reinstall, cause she has no other means of downloading it. I know very little about apple products, but I assume safari comes standard with any fresh install of osx? I'm pretty sure I told her to uninstall it and redo the os install. I forget if she tried it, but I doubt she'd have left the stone unturned lol, as she's been like this for a week and she's getting really frustrated. I make fun of her for being an apple user all the time, and she wants to get a windows based product soon, but that time hasn't arrived financially yet. So I'm left with the task of figuring this out for her.

Any suggestions? Again, I'll update with accurate system info when she gets home with it
