1. What is your budget?

Getting a loan so 2,000-3.000

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?

Any, needs to be fairly portable but opposed to a little size.

3. What screen resolution do you want?

Not sure. I have to read off of it and I watch tons of netflix and play some intense games.

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?

It needs to be portable and I don't have a desktop computer.

5. How much battery life do you need?

5-6 hours of battery life streaming Netflix or playing WOW/LOL.

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?

Minecraft, LOL, WOW.
High on all three

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)

Other than playing those three games and watching netflix: just regular college work.

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?

Enough that my previous tasks can be accomplished. (I use my phone for pictures and such.)

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.

N/A

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?

As long as possible. 3-4 years.

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?

DVD ROM is fine. If I can get a Bluray ROM good but not necessary.

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.

No preferences. I heard asus and Lenovo are good. And apple is easy to use.

13. What country do you live in?

USA. MS specifically.

14. Please tell us any additional information if needed.

Basically I need a excellent laptop that is able to handle day to day college use and can handle Netflix and gaming a couple times a week 1-2 hours max.

If you want something portable then go with the MSI GS60 Ghost Pro http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JSA1PH0. Personally, I wouldn't get a laptop larger than 15.6" because anything larger can't be considered a "laptop".

If you just want a beast with horsepower then get the ASUS ROG G750JZ-DS71 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IAACWH6. You could also check out the GT70 Dominator but I would go with the ASUS because it is a better build quality with better cooling.

Have you heard of Alienware laptops? The only think I don't think will meet your needs is 5-6 hours when gaming. Gaming is a lot more power-intensive than like web browsing so I don't think you will get 5-6 hours of straight gaming while unplugged.

joeteoh99 would a MSI GT70 Dominator with a 17.3 in screen, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 880M GPU, 128GB SSD, and 16GB Memory be what you are recommending? I used Newegg to come up with that combination.

Well, remember that it also depends on how high your settings are when gaming. Using as high as possible will kill your power, but if you're not plugged in you could lower the settings to get better life.

If you have some time before you need it, I think the Asus GX500 is going to be pretty much the best portable gaming rig for the price. Gorgeous screen, 800 series mobile GPU, svelte frame - what's not to love. If you want a beast rig, I like the OriginPC EON15-S - customizable components from the exterior paint to the HDD configuration. You can spend a lot of money in a short period of time for something like that
