Hi , i went to switch users then my screen went black , so i turned the power off then back on . The laptop started fine but then the screen went black an only my cursor is visible. I went to take the battery out while it was on, but i cant find where to take the battery out. I can only unscrew the whole back off. Is that what i should do? Oh I'm so stupid sorry i found how to take the battery out. Now im going to see if taking it out works. If it doesn't , how can i get my screen back?

What you got the laptop.
If you did, the first thing you do is plug the mains adapter into it and charge the battery of the laptop of a good eight to ten hours without using it.

That step is very important.
The screen goes black to conserve electricity in the battery when the stored power in it is low.
This is because when a laptop battery runs low it saves as much juice as it can to safely shut windows down till you full charge the battery.

If you never did an initial eight or ten hour charge with the mains supply adapter plugged in on the laptop left off.
You can damage the battery to a point where the charge level is very low, and never charges to it`s full storage capacity.
You must perform an initial charge of the battery of the laptop.
