I am looking for a la laptop for gaming/3D design laptop/Movies/School/

I have found this:
HP ENVY 15t
• Windows 8.1 64
• 4th generation Intel® Core™ i7-4510U Dual Core Processor + 4GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M Graphics
• 15.6-inch diagonal Full HD WLED-backlit Display (1920x1080)
• 12GB DDR3L System Memory (2 Dimm)
• 1.5TB 5400 rpm Hard Drive
• No Additional Office Software
• Security Software Trial
• 4-cell 48WHr Lithium-ion Battery
• SuperMulti DVD burner
• Backlit Keyboard with Fingerprint Reader
• HP TrueVision HD Webcam with Dual Digital Microphone
• 802.11b/g/n WLAN [1x1]

Is this a good laptop?
Is HP(or the specific type) a good brand?
Are Hp laptops of good reliable quality which can last a couple years?
Should I get the 4GB dedicated graphics? Or is the 2GB enough?
Please tell me if you recommend any other laptops.

Thank you

This laptop doesn't have the Nvidia gtx 850m card, it instead has the gt 850m card which is a lot weaker and really a low end graphics card for gaming and 3 D design. Send me a link to that laptop you are talking about as well as tell me the price.

Oh Ok.. I thought it was the stock HP ENVY 15t. If it does have the GTX 850m (if you can afford 4 GB, then go for it) , then definitely that's good. Now very importantly, the Intel® Core™ i7-4510U Dual Core Processor was really made for ultra books and was designed to save operate on very little power--- this processor also has a low performance. It will probably come under a lot of pressure not in gaming but when doing those 3 D modeling.

What is your budget for a laptop ?
