this may be a stupid question but I bought a brand new Lenovo B5400 which is a business laptop, can downloading games from the windows store which ran range from 50MB to 400MB harm my computer? I might download about 5 games or more? all I want to know is will it generally harm my laptop?

Solution
Make sure the free space on the HDD is never under 15% of total capacity of said drive.
Make sure the games are from legitimate sources and not potential infection sources.
Make sure you download games that can be reasonably run on that system, since laptops will overheat easier than desktops and they are not always placed under ideal cooling circumstances (running a game while the laptop is in your lap means obstructing bottom airflow ports, meaning overheating in turn). The CPU/GPU will throttle down when detecting overheating, but repeatedly reaching threshold temps can never be good).

Game on.

house70 is correct.

If the games are from legitimate sources then you should have no problems. Also if they are some what intensive games, you may find the laptop struggles to play them but from the size of these games you should have no issue.
