hp i3 cpu upgrade

The hp G62's can be configured from HP with these processor choices currently:
i3-350M
i3-370M
i5-450M
i5-520M
Now, you need to take into consideration that once you have upgraded your processor then you will automatically lose your Hp warranty ( that shouldn't matter , as I would assume you have this laptop long enough that the warranty has already been up). I should also tell you to be careful here when upgrading to a more powerful processor. A laptop that was designed to dissipate the heat from an i3 processor may not be up for the job for an i5 or . Arctic Silver 5 will be an asset here and you may also have to use a cooling mat.
