Hiya guys. I've just bought used Dell 702X with Intell graphics ( 3000 ) as well with NVidia gt 555m. Thing is it looks like my games are using intell graphics, instead of NVidia.

Is there is any way I can force games to use NVidia graphics ? I've try disabling intell inside device manager. I.m using windows 8.1, but i'm thinking to move back to windows 7 ( not sure if this will help with anything. )

cheers

Solution

Try going into the Nvidia Control Panel by right clicking the desktop and selecting the Nvidia Control Panel, then going into "Manage 3D Settings". Change what programs run on which GPU chipset in there.

EDIT: And yes, as stated above me, you'll need the latest drivers from NVIDIA for your dedicated chip
