Which Laptop Should I Pick?

Hello There,
Starting last year, my high school required a laptop/tablet for everyday school use for online textbooks, technology classes, note taking, etc.. Last year I was using the Microsoft Surface RT. It served my note tanking needs, but I was limited to only what was on the Microsoft Store (piece of crap), and the tablet itself was very, very fragile and poor build quality. Thankfully I had a warranty. But now the school says it will not allow android tablets, iPads, and anything running Windows RT or Vista/XP. I have set my mind on Lenovo for a laptop because i have used their laptops in the past and know some people who own them. They are relatively quiet, light, affordable, powerful, and most of all, durable. I have narrowed my list down to the Flex 2 series. I am having trouble deciding on which model to go for, either the Flex 2 (15 inch) or the Flex 2 (14 inch) and the variants of each.

I don't want to go over $700, any suggestions on which of those to get, or suggestions of a better laptop/notebook will be appreciated

That Edge is a bit too bulky for me. thats why i chose the flex series, they are very slim. Also, both links to lenovo's site you sent me show all of the models, could you specify which models you were taking about?

i just checked on cpu benchmark, and the i5 from the Flex2 15 inch got an average cpu mark of 3604, and the i7 from the Flex2 14 got 3956, that doesnt sem like too much of a difference to me. also, the 15" one has double the ram of the 14" one and costs less.

I'll be note taking with Office 2013, studying, internet browsing, some light gaming, and a bit of graphic design and some programming because i have a class in each, though i doubt il be doing anything crazy in graphic design.
