Today I had my laptop plugged into a wall outlet and on, but the lid was closed. I ran upstairs for a brief second and the power flickered off then back on in a second due to a thunder storm. Because of this, I'm wondering if something happened to my laptop. I didn't notice any physical damage or anything wrong with my screen when I checked on the laptop. As of right now, nothing appears to be wrong with my laptop in any way. My questions are: could a small power flicker cause any damage at all? If there is damage, how could I tell? Is there a way to check settings, files, etc.?
