Restore windows 7 on Acer lapton

When I try to restore windows 7 on my Acer laptop it stops halfway through and brings up error code 0X45D (cannot apply image). Help

Computer manufacturers split your hard drive between your Windows partition (C drive, what you can see and use of your hard drive) and a hidden partition were they've saved a file or files used to bring your computer back to the original out of box configuration.

Your computer is failing to recovery either because that file was damaged or tampered with, you have a bootkit infection, or your computer has some kind of hardware defective (bad hard drive, bad memory, etc).

Can you describe what led you to wanting to restore your computer? Were you running into a particular problem? If no hardware issue is present, you are usually able to purchase a recovery disc set from the manufacturer (assuming you did not use the included utility...
