I have recently started to use my Samsung HMX-F80 Camcorder, and have the following problem on 2 San Disk 32Gb SDHC Class 10 micro memory cards.
The first few photos and videos are good, but the remainder are not viewable either on the camera or PC.
Not sure if this is relevant, but In both cases the unviewable files seem to occur when the used capacity has reached around 500Mb
I have attempted to recover the photo and video files from both memory cards, using several different recovery software programs.
The programs seem to be designed to recover files from damaged or corrupted memory cards, but, in my case, the cards do not appear damaged or corrupted.
The correct memory card details and data is displayed on both the camera, and PC
All the files appear to be in the correct format – Photo-JPG, Video-MP4, and similar/correct file sizes.
Samsung inform me that the cards are compatible with the camera, and there are no know issues as far as they are concerned
