Hi all, I'm looking for a new headset for PC gaming. I'm looking to spend no more than £40/$70. Sound quality and comfort are my most important needs. However a good mic would be appreciated.

I've stumbled across a logitech G430 headset for £38 ($64.13) which seems like a good deal. However my understanding of the audio world is minor. So I'm left wondering is there a better alternative? Thanks in advance :) .

Frankly looking at that headset, speaking from experience of owning a few gaming headsets and researching obsessively to make sure I know which one I want. There is no better in that price bracket. As soon as I can save up enough to get my gaming pc parts build it and get the keyboard/speakers, this is the headset I am buying. It has great surround sound, a solid bass, the mic is stow-able, the ear-cup fabric can be washed which can help eliminate grease and lastly the ear-cups can be rotated to lay flat on a surface to help minimize the risk of accidentally breaking them off. (trust me it can happen)

Yer that's kinda what I thought from my limited research too. I suppose my only fear is buying a unfamiliar brand. Then again, if it's good it's good.
