While I was looking through the video capture settings for MSI Afterburner, I found an option labeled "Use Dedicated Encoder Server".

I remember seeing something like this while looking through RivaTuner Statistics Server. The tooltips provided didn't explain what this function did in a way that I could understand. Can somebody please explain to me what this is, and what it does?

If the game is 64 bit and you want to use a 32 bit encoder, you need to check this. Otherwise you can only use the same bit encoder.

This could help solve sync or multithreaded optimization issues.

It also increases usable space for prerecording.
