First off, the cooling.

I'll be playing heavy games with my new gaming laptop such as Far Cry 3 and Battlefield 3/4. All of course on High/Ultra settings; My previous laptop, i played light games in low and it still overheated and shut down. So obviously, upgrading from light games on low to heavy games on high/ultra is a big improvement.

I've searched throughout the internet for cooling tips. I found that having an SSD helps, and also a cooler ( obviously ). So I'm planning to get both of those. Problem is i don't know what SSD and Cooler would be good.

I think this cooler is good: http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-NotePal-Ultra-Slim-R9-NBC-XSLI-GP/dp/B005C31HC0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1405351700&sr=8-1&keywords=laptop+cooler

As for the SSD, i don't really know which one to pick, i mean, is there like laptop-special SSD's or...?

My room is dusty, but i try and keep it clean, my desk is made from wood. I also will be using a fan that blows toward the laptop, if any of that helps.

As for the Maintenance.

I don't want my laptop to be from good, to okay, to bad due to dust or whatever that might make it slower, so if you could recommend something to clean it without damaging the laptop, and if possible, without taking it apart.

Thanks if you took your time to read this.

laptops and desktops both generally use 2.5 inch sata ssd's so no need for anything special the cooler also looks to be of good quality you linked to a regular can of air will clean out your laptop with damaging components just be careful when you blow inbetween keys as the cap might pop off
