I am looking to sell my lightly used alienware M18x laptop. It has the original box and packaging. It has an I7 3940xm CPU, SLI gtx 680m's, 16gb ddr3 1600 memory, 750 gb hdd + 250gb ssd, IC Diamond Advanced Thermal Compound applied on CPU + GPU, Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 2230 2x2 With Bluetooth 4.0, Creative Sound Blaster Recon3Di High-Definition 5.1 Audio with THX TruStudio Pro Software, and windows 8. What price should I ask for if I were to list it on Ebay or craigslist? Thanks!

Rule of Thumb (Laptop) - Take your build cost and then subtract 20% .... then 5% for each month of age for 6 months (60% value at this point) ... then 10% for every 6 months thereafter.

0.5 year old - 50% of build cost
1.0 - 40%
1.5 - 30%
2.0 - 20%
2.5 - 10%
3.0 - 0%
