Download Skype upgrade July 22 & was on old Skype but didn't start installation. Finished chat using older Skype. Skype was still open was using Mozilla on bank website then I got blue screen something dump data. I forced shutdown holding the start bottom & it did. Waited for a bit & tried to start turn on machine & nothing happens. I do have power I see the blue light on the connecter from jack but nothing turn on on machine nor lights. I took battery out & held start bottom for 40 seconds without it being connected to jack. Then put jack in & still nothing happens.
It wasn't hot nor any smell.
I opened the back all looks ok & front to check start bottom all looks fine. I checked RAms I got 2 each 4GB looks ok took out & back in. Tried to turn on with one nothing happened.
Is their something I can to to turn it on

This is a tough one. The issue could be a variety of problems.

What is the OS you are using?

Also, have you looked at current solutions for "blue screen of death".

Is the machine completely dead? Or is it at least charging?

I definitely cannot diagnose the problem (there could be any number of issues that have caused it).

I would personally try booting from linux to revive the machine somehow, but if you are not comfortable with repairing hardware and you aren't too sure of things like the BIOS, etc. , I would take it to a repair guy to have a look at it.

I don't think the laptop is completely gone, just that the blue screen issue is frequent in Windows and there are multiple solutions already online for it.
