hi
i am currently using an asus motherboard M2N68-AM plus,i am planing to install a new sound card ,as i am using onborad sound card , when i followed the installation guide on youtube they say u should disable the onborad audio device from bios but i cant find the audio selection button in the BIOS does it matter if i dont disable the audio from bios or where should i check for it as i have done several times. Is it ok if i leave it just like that.

It's not mandatory that you disable the on-board sound, but it will keep the system simpler. You won't have to select which one you want to use in Windows every time. Page 2-9 of your MB owners manual shows where the enable/disable toggle is. The audio chips is referred to as Azalia. It should be in the Chipset Menu.

Don't forget to move your front panel audio cable from the MB audio header to the card's. And move your speaker cables from the integrated ports to the card's.
