Hi,
Specs of my laptop are the same as original Dell Inspiron 17r se with additional 128gb Adata SX300 SSD msata drive where I installed windows and most important programms (and games).
CPU - i7-3630QM
GPU - GT650M + intel 4000
RAM - 8gb ddr3 1600mhz
HDD - WD 1000TB (this one from DELL) and TOSHIBA 320gb (both SATA)
SSD - ADATA SX300 128gb (mSATA)
OS - Win8.1 PRO, Im using buit-in administrator of it makes a difference
My problem is that when Im trying to play game like Saint Row IV or Fifa 13 (both original, non Steam or Origin) after some time (mostly 2-3 minutes) notebook is turning itself off like it lost power.
Coretemp shows 70-80*C on each core (after the game starts, coz later I dont have time and possibility to see it, but I dont think its more than 100-105, which is max before tuning off for this model I think) - its a lot, but it should still work.
Windows was installed yesterday as I got the ssd drive - the game is on the same drive/partition.
Only 1,5/8gb of RAM is used by OS and other programms so planty of it is for the game.
Game should start with NVIDIA GPU (set as default), and as i dont have lags i think it is, so its not the problem.
Any idea what can casue it?
Thanks in advance
