Anyone have anything to say about the Aorus x7? I LOVE how thin it is. Looks extremely slick.

No idea what dual geforce 765s does. Is that better than 1 GTX 870?

It's pretty pricey but I do love that design

Yes, the 780M performs better than the 870M (http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-780M.88993.0.html), it's ranked higher than the 870M and has a higher clock speed. However, the 800M series GPU are designed to be more battery efficient than the 700M series so there's some benefit to the newer cards.

As for the 765M SLI, the 870M is clocked at a higher speed, it's more battery efficient, and it produces less heat. SLI GPU's generally produce more heat than single GPU's. So if I had a choice, I'd opt for the 870M, it's an all-around better GPU. :)

Cool I'll red that now. In the meantime, here are some things I have heard (cons) from buyer reviews:

up close you can see the pixels The monitor is not that high quality. it is perfectly fine, but for the price, you would expect better. The black level isn't great (multiple complaints). The keyboard has too much flex (not sure what that means but multiple complaints that keyboard sucks). Fingerprints get left all over it because of the material and the glass touchpad can be very sensitive.

Also heard the wireless signal is not great and you need to be close to router. These are all from verified buyers via newegg, not random douches

Also, shado, can you clarify for me...tonight I am finding out that apparently the 780m is an amazing graphics card. I even noticed that some site that compares gpus rates the 780m higher than the 870m. Am I wrong in assuming the 870m is newer and should therefore be better?

Because I have been looking at laptops with 870m GPU because I thought it was one of the best but it looks like the 780 is better?
