Hello,
What do you think about this
Lenovo ideapad z510
Processor : 4th gen i7 4702MQ 2.2ghz 1600Mhz 6m cache processor
Graphic card : nvidia gt740m 2gb
Ram : 6gb ddr3l sdram 1600ghz
Operating system : dos

I'm looking forward for playing latest games on medium/low settings, will this be good?
Also is it good idea to change to win8

That GT740m will get you Watch Dogs on low ~40fps, Wolfenstein on medium, Titanfall med-high, The Elder Scrolls Online on high, Assassins Creed IV on low , Dota 2 on high.

Not the best, but it's what you are expecting. Windows 7 vs 8 is about personal preference (I'm still with Win 7 but gonna get a new laptop with Win 8.1 soon)

Also, is 6gb ram enough?

6gb ram is pretty much okay, 4gb would be too little. You will be able to multi-task alot BUT I believe that laptop would be bottlenecked by that RAM. It's an easy and cheap upgrade for the future though so dont worry abt it.
