pioneer vsx 521

hi Ive had a pioneer vsx 521 for about a year and a half now and recently the sound had just stopped working thought the amp. I can turn the sound signal to go though the tv fine but not the amp. I have tried setting the receiver and now its not letting me go to my home menu its saying phonesin so was wondering If any one would be able to help

i'm not sure if your model has it.. but are you sure you did not push the speakers button and turned them off, or are running in zone2 instead?

i had an issue about a year ago with my vsx-30 where i was also getting no sound. the issue ended up being a thermal overload switch being tripped which just needed a code to be input to reset it (i could not find the code for my model anywhere).

phonesin i guess means headphones in? remove the headphones, or the connector may be broken.
