Hi I have a Thinkpad edge e531 with a 1366x768 15.6 inch screen (without touch. Yes this is unusual from most e531s). I am considering replacing (or upgrading?) the screen because it has a dead pixel right in the center that is really annoying me.
I have 3 questions.
1. Is that an "okay" resolution?
2. Are screens "upgradable" in the same way ram might be? Can I get a screen with a higher resolution and just replace it? Will my computer even accept/take advantage of the upgrade?
3.Are laptop screen interchangeable? Basically can I just get any 15.6 inch screen and have it work or do I need to get a specific lenovo e531 screen or something? How would I go about finding the right type?
