Laptop that game game around $550

Solution
Oh, the laptop only comes with 4GB of RAM. That will limit your gaming because:

1. The RAM will be used by both the laptop itself for loading things into memory and the Radeon HD 8650g will use some of it to load textures for games. Don't know how much will be allocated to the Radeon; it may be 1GB, it may be 512MB or less.

2. With only one stick of RAM the RAM works at half the speed. You need two sticks of RAM to work at full speed. There might be a 15% - 20% performance penalty in games when there is only 1 stick of RAM.

Adding another 4GB of RAM will cost you $80 if you want it to be already installed. Or you can buy it separately yourself and install it; a stick of 4GB RAM should cost $50 at most. You can go to Crucial to find...
ThinkPad E545 starting at $499

Select the $70 option for the A10-5750m APU with the Radeon HD 8650g which is currently the most powerful integrated GPU. Cost is $569 and don't foget sales tax.

Because this is a business laptop you have an option to install Win 7 for an additional $50. Nowadays, Microsoft only allows Win 7 to be install in business laptops because many large companies invests hundreds of millions of dollars (if not billions) into proprietary software that may or may not run in Windows 8.
