I got Velocity Micro U450 ultrabook (with Core i5 3317U ultra low voltage !!!) seven months ago. Its aluminium so the whole body may get hot. Idle its 50-55 deg, when running a game it gets max 96 deg, so it also affects performance. I think that one of the fans isn't working because the other runs really loud. Tried to recognize them with SpeedFan and HWmonitor but it doesn't work. The worst part is that I don't know will an aftermarket cooler do the job because there aren't any cooling openings at the bottom, only below the display. It has 1 year and 5 months of remaining warranty and I don't want to void it by opening it. What should I do?
