Im running an amd a10 5800k apu, i initially went with this because i was on a budget. But now i have the money to buy a graphics card to boost my performance.
Im wondering if i should crossfire the apu with a compatible gpu
Is that a good idea ?
Or is crossfire not worth it, ive heard its not ver reliable, i could get a better graphics card and not run it in dual graphics
Would it be better, or even doable to run a gpu with an apu as if it was a normal prossecor without discrete graphics.

Thank you, hope you could help

P.s im a total noob when it comes to graphics cards...

To double the performance, buy 1 Radeon HD 7670.

Don't bother trying hybrid crossfire. You're basically looking at worse performance due to an artificially inflated frame rate and other video problems like screen tearing.

I would recommend getting a R9 270 and using it as a stand alone gpu since the a10 is basically a Athlon X4 750k with integrated graphics. Compared to the A10's igpu your currently using you will see a great difference in gaming performance and fps.

Just make sure your PSU can support the upgrade.
