Can it play Skyrim? I checked game debate and they say yes but notebookcheck says no. Please help I am super new to pc games.

I'm choosing between
A. Lenovo brand: Intel i3-4010U with 4400 Intel HD Graphics, 6gb RAM

B. HP brand: Intel i3-3130M processor with 4000 HD Graphics 4 gb RAM

and this hits my budget.

it might be able too, but you would get very choppy frame rates. Idk much about skyrim but I know with mods it's very demanding.

Since your budget is so low for a gaming laptop, your going to want to get a AMD APU.

Can you build your own desktop? It's cheap, fun and brings a lot better bank for your buck.

Thanks for the reply, I am actually looking at an AMD Quad-Core A8-4500M Accelerated Processor with AMD Radeon HD 7640G discrete-class graphics, laptop. How does this one compare to the ones above? I am not tech savvy enough to build one and I really prefer a laptop.

Do you NEED a laptop? if not and if you can do a desktop do you already have a monitor, keyboard, and mouse? Also, what's the budget?

The AMD APU will have a lot better graphics, so gaming will be smoother.

Reason why I'm recommending desktops, is because you can build a $500 desktop that performs better than a $1000 gaming laptop.

Yeah I need a laptop. My budget is relatively small at 450. I have those accessories are there better desktop options around my price range that I don't have to build?

Well since you need a laptop the that AMD quad core would be best.

Eh, it's hard to find prebuilt pcs that are good around those prices. But since you need a laptop that shouldn't matter.

You have been really helpful. One last question, is game-debate reliable for testing if I would be able to run games?

I'd only use it as a last resort, I only use it when I can't find any benchmarks or reviews about anything except for game debate.

Your best place of info is to look for actually benchmarks on the computer chips your looking for.
