Hi, my pc motherboard supports up to 8channels so it has got six 3.5mm jack connection and one toslink input but in my audio driver software, there is no equalizer in settings tab but there is in speakers section.

I am using 5.1 system, have only one (rca to 3.5mm) cable so it is not enough for connect 5.1 channel.

I don't understand audio connections so would there be a quality loss of sound, If I plugged in my system with three aux cable ? It seems the only way for me to equalize it and works via speaker settings in my VIA HD audio deck (Envy)

toslink is full digital signal so it is not using your motherboards DAC(digital analog converter) and regular aux do so toslink can only be equalized on the device it is connected to(all processing of sound is done on the connected device all toslink does is just send the raw data signal to the device) although there is some software that will allow you to adjust the digital signal on the computer (not recommended) in more simple terms aux uses onboard sound card and toslink(or spdif) uses external device as sound card.
