Ive had my laptop for a couple of months, but today, i got this fuzzy screen, which led me to believe my display was playing up.

Then, however, after i was forced to turn the laptop off, it decided not to turn on again.

In detail; When the power button is pressed, sometimes the loading screen appears, sometimes not (Which means the display works fine). What happens afterwards confuses me though...

Whatever happens, soon after a click sound OR a beep sound is heard, and the computer turns off alltogther again. Then, for some weird reason, it tries to turn itself on, repeating the same process...

I have no idea what has happened, so any answer would be greatly appreciated...

Try checking out the FAQ included in the laptop box (if you still have that): the sound/LED in the laptop might be an error code. Otherwise, I'd think it's a problem with the hardware.

Do you sometimes still get a normal screen, normal Windows? Nothing wrong with the operating system?

Thanks for the reply.

I will try to dig out the box (wherever it is!) and try the FAQ section.

I did manage to get to the windows logon screen a couple of minutes ago, but it froze and the screen became 'fuzzy', but at the moment, it still just beeps and turn off again.

I'm not sure, but in my opinion it's (as I said before) the hardware. Otherwise your Windows is damaged, but as you got a couple of seconds on the Windows screen, I don't think so.
