I have a brand new Toshiba Soundbar which works flawlessly on my PC, PS4, Wii U but it seems to be playing up on my PS3.
I have it hooked up using a good optical cable to the back of my tv, which then has my 4 pieces of hardware above connected to it via HDMI cables.
Anyway I have been playing ICO and Dead Space 3 recently on my PS3 and it just sounds bad. The sound on ICO sounds like it was recorded using a phone microphone which can't handle the loud noises. And Dead space 3 seems to crackling during loud explosions and stuff. Not sure what is up with it and whether it is just bad sound design on these two particular games. I played a few other games and it seemed ok however I couldn't replicate any loud moments in my small collection of other games on my ps3.
Does anyone know the best course of action? New HDMI cable possibly? Or that there is nothing wrong at all?!
Any info you guys could give me would be great!
