I am planning to buy a laptop in coming 2-3 months. I have around 40K(in Indian rupee). I have chosen
HP Pavilion e001AX Notebook. Its conf. r
APU quad core A10 5750M processor
A76M chipset
2.5 Ghz with turbo boost upto 3.5 Ghz
Radeon HD8650G+ Radeon Mobility HD8670M. 1 TB HDD and 8Gb DDR3.
I am a gamer and want to play new games. Low settings will also work and FPs of 20-25 will also b fine. So will this laptop b worth for the money? You can suggest something else also.

Solution
This is the review website of the dual gpu with benchamarks: http://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Radeon-HD-8650G-HD-8670M-Dual-Graphics.104346.0.html . It's in class 3 (low perfomance gpus) and is weaker :(
This is the review website of the 740m with good benchmark results, and has succeeded well: http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GT-740M.89900.0.html . It's in class 2 (medium good perfomance gpus) and is better than class 3. :) :D ;)
So my personal recommendation is to go for my laptop suggested laptop above. :D ;) :)

Hi,

New here, but thought I'd reply, since no one else did. The laptop you want to buy is very ordinary. It would be able to support older games, from around 2009-2012, but definitely not anything recent. The main issues are the processor and graphics card. The processor's output and ability to perform multiple functions effectively is only average. You can see it's ranking here: http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_lookup.php?cpu=AMD+A10-5750M+APU&id=1920

As for the graphics card, it's a low end card, that wouldn't be able to play high demanding games. You can see the details for the card here: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Comparison-of-Laptop-Graphics-Cards.130.0.html

So given this combination of an average processor and low end GPU, you wouldn't be able to do much with that laptop. Rs. 40,000 translates to around $667. You won't be able to get a good gaming laptop for under $1,000, which is like Rs. 60,000. That said, you may have to increase your budget. Or you could try building a good desktop instead. You'll get twice the output of a laptop for half the cost. Unless you're planning on doing a lot of travelling, and gaming while travelling, you really don't need an expensive high end laptop. :p

The processor is good as compared to A10 5750M but when I serched for nvidia GeForce 820M "2GB" I could'nt find one in gamedebate. It only showed nvidia GeForce 820M 1GB ddr3. and it is very weaker than HD8650G+ Mobility HD8670M. Ati's card was able to run more games than nvidia's.

Perheps u can give me some more suggestions with minor increase in budget(+2K). N dont worry bout OS.:wahoo:

Really appreciate u to suggest me those laptops. n thanks also. But here is same question that I cant find 820M "2GB" edition on net. R they dual gpu's? Benchmark shows dual HD 8650G + HD 8670M is little better than 820M. Otherwise ur suggested lappies r great.

See this website also: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Comparison-of-Laptop-Graphics-Cards.130.0.html
In this website the 740M is placed in Class 2 and your Radeon DualGPU is placed in Class 3, which means weaker :(
The GeForce GT 740M is much better, cheaper and affordable than the dual gpu (I checked out in flipkart and saw that the laptops with radeon hd 8670 were priced higher :( than my latest selection mentioned just above) :)

Then I think at this budget i hv only 3 options
Dual AMD gpu
820 M
740 M. I dont liked 820M as it was not able to run Watchdogs. That left 2 gpu's. As far as cpu goes all were equivalent in suggested laptops. Lets c what else can I get in this budget.
