The problem: While playing the game Smite (an online MOBA game) the application frequently freezes. I am then not able to alt tab but have to blindly go into the Task Manager and use my arrow keys to select the application and kill it with the "Delete" key.

What I've tried myself: I've been fed up with this problem for quite a while already and have nothing so far..

I've checked the Event Logs whether something happened, couldn't find anything. I've checked the logs of Smite, there was no application crash documented. I've ran FurMark stressing my GPU for 100% (the NVIDIA one) and saw it rising to about 90 degrees celcius, however, FurMark continued to run perfectly fine. Next to that, I stressed my CPU for 100%, still no crashes for over an hour. I will try again tonight for the whole night, who knows it might crash over time. I have tried the built in Windows Mem test, no errors were found. I've tried deinstalling the drivers and reinstalling them from the NVIDIA website, this fixed another issue (stuck on loading screen in another game).

I also have a problem with the built-in webcam which for some reason is not detected. Also, if I insert another webcam with a USB connector, it doesn't get detected either. I've ran out of options and when I send it to the vendor they also simply say they couldn't find an error.

I'm fed up with the fact I paid 1200 euros for a laptop that's now not working and am not really happy with paying another 1200 for a new laptop..

Hi Iceclock,

I do appreciate your input but, as it's a gaming laptop, in my opinion, it should work as itself during gaming. I've played on several laptops without any issues whatsoever with the hardware being around 90 degrees.

Bump - Have some new issues, once the computer is booted up it destroys the network for a minute or so, I have a NAS powered up wired to the modem which beeps when internet is being disconnected. This does not happen if the computer is turned off.

I assume this might be something with the Killer network card.
