When I installed the new windows 8.1 onto my m14x r1 alien ware laptop, I get the bsod when booting up . I have an example of one that literally just occurred, (system thread exception not handled. Then I got this at the end ( hd aud bus, or something like that) the bsod of happens all the time when booting, and has different codes, but maybe this one will help me? I don't know. any help would be nice
