Hi all,

I am in the process of building a high end gaming pc. I also like my music to be accurately represented as I have some experience with mixing and mastering, I know how mch effort is put into getting the sound just right. I have budgeted out $250 to spend on sound for my PC. Should I get a pair of monitors or will that have a detrimental effect on my gaming experience? A subwoofer would be nice but im not sure if my budget allows it. Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

http://www.microlab.cn/product_detail.asp?id=279&bigclassid=15&smallclassid=72 these are getting great reviews all over the place along with the bigger brother the 7c http://www.microlab.cn/product_detail.asp?id=281&bigclassid=15&smallclassid=72. Not the best speaker around, but extremely good for the price. Most reviewers say no sub is needed, you could add a sub later if you wanted to though, although it would be a bit tricky with these, or any monitor type speakers, as there is no way to connect the speakers through the sub easily.
